I'm planning my future sister in laws Bachelorette party and need help finding a restaurant for dinner. While I'm from the Chicago area, I haven't lived there in 15 years so I'm very out of the loop on food.

This is for late March, a group of 7 and most of the party is in their late 20's. While the bride is a huge foodie and has been to most of the great restaurants in the city, I want to be conscious of the other girls in the party as I don't know them or their lifestyles and budgets.

I've read that Mercadito could be a good option. I also heard that Sumi Robata Bar could be good. Someone recommended Three Dots and a Dash but when I looked at the menu it's small and pretty casual. I envision us going somewhere that we can get a little dressed up but also somewhere that we can be loud and not disturb other guests.

I would love some suggestions!
