It's time (30 days) to make reservations for upcoming NYC trip and I'm choking. I had planned on Daniel (if possible) Sat night and Babbo (ditto) Sunday. But...I've looked at Daniel's fall menu and to be honest, it didn't set my soul on fire like the spring and summer menus did. i think there's a downside to the seasonal movement. I don't really want cabbage and root vegetables. So perhaps I should save Daniel til next year.
Now considering db Bistro for the burger...but that's heavy w/ Babbo the next night?
Except for Daniel, I prefer not to repeat where I've already been (hey...I only get to NY a couple of times a year). That includes Picholine,Le B,Jean George- Nougatine (is the main dining room very diff?), Mesa Grill, Patria, Vong, Cafe Boulud, Nobu.
Where have I missed that I need to experience? No jacket required is a plus but not essential.
