Baba Palace - try the rice pudding!

So, this evening after a networking event that I organize for Ryze.com, my gf and I were downtown, near Chicago ave, headed towards an el anyway, and wanted someplace to eat quickly and nearby at past 9pm.

So, Baba Palace it was.

I had the Spicy Chicken Tikka which was excellent, fell off the bone, and very tasty (served in a small portion with Naan and spinich for $4.50)

She had a Chicken Roti (Chicken on a stick) which she thought was a bit dry but very tasty, served with some Daal, she chose basmati rice which she enjoyed, my naan more than enough for us both.

I had to have a Mango Shake - really, really good, she had a cup of tea.

But the real find was when I decided that before paying for our meal I would like to have some dessert, so Rice Pudding it was, with a cup of tea for myself.

The rice pudding at Baba Palace is, I think, extremely good - very light, very flavorful, not extremely sweet with hints of coconut and hints of spices, a great way to end our meal.

And for all that, the bill was $14.

Pretty hard to beat.
