Will be going w/ my in-laws to Baba Neo this weekend (see link). My MIL has heard good things from co-workers, and my SIL (who is Singaporean) has heard good things from her Singapore Club. I suggested Layang Layang in SJ, but it was two against one and who's to argue w/ the Singapore Club (or my MIL)?
Was happy to see some recent reports (mostly positive) on CH. Believe that AussieGirl was the last person to report on June 2nd:

I've never eaten this type of cuisine before, so looking forward to the experience. For ordering, I'm going to mostly defer to my SIL and FIL, who are very familiar w/ the cuisine. However, thought I'd ask the hounds and compile a list of standouts to keep in mind. What are the standouts? Any strong must avoids?
I know some people have been disappointed b/c a dish didn't match what they ate in Singapore, but I'm looking for well-prepared, unique dishes that taste good and offer variety for our palates..."authentic" or not. We all eat pretty much anything and will have three kids in tow. Thanks for your input!
