Azafran Cuban restaraunt in Oceanside

I went to Azafran for the first time on Wed. night and enjoyed it very much.My father ordered the ropo viejo which came with rice, beans, and a few plantains, which my dad let me try(they were very tasty-I'd love to know how they flavor them).

It's a very limited menu(one page) but there's something for everyone.I had the Cubano#2 which was a Cuban sandwich with bacon and smoked(it tasted smoked to me)pork, cheese and pickles.

I would definitely reccomend it if you're in the neighborhood. They have cafe Cubano which is very strong Cuban-style coffee, and bread pudding(not sure if that's particluarly Cuban, but I digress...)
