What to avoid if caught in a chain pub: UK

I'm normally of the 'if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all..." school but I had the misfortune of being in a Punch and Judy the other day (the family oriented chain pub which I assume is unrelated to the tourist trap in Covent Garden), and I can honestly say I had my worst meal ever there. So I am writing to warn you off... Not that I was expecting much, mind you, but there were some edible things on the menu: the grilled chicken and chips, for example, was passable fuel should you get roped in to such a place. But whatever you do, do NOT, EVER order a giant yorkshire pudding with sausages and mash. The mash was actually reconstituted potatoes, and had an almost gritty consistency. There were 6 revolting sausages--imagine, a whole package of sausages--stacked up in a row alongside the mash. These must have had more rusk than meat, the skin was flaccid, no flavour in sight, oh the horror... the horror...

It was so utterly revolting that at the end of the meal I was growing nauseous by the plate's offending contents remaining on the table within whiffing distance.

sorry for the negativity but when something is this bad, it should really have a warning label.
