I love cooking. I love eating. I do not love spending 2+ hours every night devoted to making dinner at home - prepping, cooking, and cleaning. I have started to think maybe I am spending way more time in the kitchen than the average home cook. I like trying new recipes, so about 75% of what I make is new and from cookbooks or magazines (Cook's Illustrated, Fine Cooking, etc). And yes, my go-to's usually are less than 2+ hours, but not by much.
How long does it take you to make a weeknight meal and how basic are your everyday dinners? And if your time is way less than my average 2 hours, any suggestions on how to make my Mon-Thur less time consuming. Thanks!
