(Hopefully) Authentic Uighur Restaurant Opens In Brooklyn

I'm intrigued. Today, while on a jaunt to Brighton Beach's food emporium, a diminutive man with strong Mongol features handed me a menu. At the top, next to the grinning chef caricature, it proclaimed:

Hallal Meat "Cafe Kashkar"
Oygur International Food

I know that previous requests for this cuisine on Chowhound have turned up zilch. Now, hopefully, that's changed.

I wasn't able to try it out as the actual place was a number of blocks away, but I'm happy to relate what's on the menu. (Descriptions omitted)

Soups:
Shurpa, Mampar, Ugra, Lagman, Fried Lagman, Goiro Lagman, Guvarman, Chuchuara

Salads:
Carrot Salad (Korean), Mix Salad, Fresh Salad, Langsal, Osh Langpang, Pickled Salad

Kebabs:
Lamb, Beef, Chicken, Ground Beef, Lamb Chops

Hot Appetizers:
Manty, Samsa, Palow, Naryn, Guvova, Utoza w/ Fried Vegetables, Chop w/ Meat

Side Orders:
Naan, Rice, Salad

Beverages:
Tea, Coffee, Soda

Desserts:
(None listed)

That's it, in toto. And now, for the even better part, the most expensive item is 6 bucks. Most likely a tiny hole-in-the-wall, but that's perfectly OK.

I will visit ASAP. If anyone beats me to it, please post your feedback!
