Authentic SF-style burrito with CHICKEN BREAST?

scottlevin | Aug 25, 201109:36 PM

Hi everyone.

Things I like:

—SF-style burritos (especially super burritos)
—Taquera La Bamba in Mountain View
—High quality ingredients
—Chicken breast

Things I don't like:

—Most SoCal burritos
—Chipotle (white rice in a burrito just isn't right)
—Chicken thigh (too greasy for me; I know it has its supporters, but let's leave politics out of this)

QUESTION — Where in the South Bay/Peninsula can I get a great SF-style burrito made with chicken breast? Some places say they do chicken breast, but it's some gross white meat dark meat combo. Americans love chicken breast; it's a fact. I feel like some "authentic" Mexican taqueria has compromised its authenticity on this point to create an awesome chicken breast burrito. Has anyone found it? (Hint: it's not at La Bamba. Came away very disappointed the other day. Usually have to get veggie or carnitas there and it's just not as fun.)

Thanks!
