Our nomination period yielded three books/sources to put forward for a vote.
SMITTEN KITCHEN WEB SITE, which has been in the running for a few months now, was our top nominee with seven nominations. Smitten Kitchen Every Day was COTM back in May of 2018, and the blog and first Smitten Kitchen cookbook have a cooking from thread, so this author should be very familiar to you. FALASTIN received six nominations. This book comes from Ottolenghi co-founder Sami Tamimi and collaborator Tara Wigley, and focuses on the food of Palestine. Some of the recipes are traditional, timeless classics. But the authors also felt free to play around and not always stick to tradition. Read more over on Amazon:

JUBILEE also received six nominations. In this book, author Toni Tipton-Martin sheds light on two hundred years of African-American cooking by sharing the stories and recipes from cooks past and present.
