audubon circle

Went to Audubon Circle Saturday night with a couple of friends. Each time I go there, I have to ask myself why I don't go more often! We sat at the bar and had two very attentive and friendly bartenders who both make a mean cosmo. It came out the perfect shade of light pink with just the right amount of fresh lime juice (not that overly sweet Rose's version which I'm not a big fan of).

Two of us had the burger which at $8 in this day and age of the $12+ burger was an absolute bargain. They both came out perfectly medium rare and juicy, served with potato wedges (not the typical french fry, but delicious nevertheless). The bartender got everything right including the requests for extra pickles and mustard on one, and mayo on the side for the other. The third person ordered the tuna cooked rare, served with some asian greens, jasmine rice and banana salsa. I had a taste and it was delicious and also cooked perfectly. At somewhere around $17, it too was a bargain!
