528 9th Avenue, New York, NY 10018
Second meal of 2015 was no meal at all. If this was an Epicurean Dictatorship, the owner would be forced to shut down.
I found myself on 9th Avenue to make purchase of a gift for New Years, but the shop was closed. I had not eaten, and arriving to 9th, I noticed Tabata Ramen had metal sheets obstruct the entrance, and windows.
Next, this was my chance to go to the Pakistani restaurant called Kashmir 9, but the lights were not on, and upon reaching and pulling the door handle, the door was latched tightly from inside, denying me or anyone, the delicious food inside.
So, Atomic Wing with two beers for 5 dollars, was thought at the time, to be the needed excitement.
Bad choice. The wings were dry, not properly cooked, nor stored, and not fresh. The wing sauce was quite hoe hum, if not really bad.
I could hardly touch the beer, also, as delicious hot suicidal wings are what make even bad beer, drinkable.
They do much take out, as delivery people, two, are continually in and out.
If at all a redeeming element, televisions, three of them. I am not one for TV, but for some reason the talking heads, and changing images was a nice accompaniment to the slow progress of drinking two bud beers.
I was in no mood to read.
I finished 4 of the 10 wings. The remaining ended up in a take out bag, and I abandoned the six remaining wings, lifeless, and cold, somewhere enroute.
Planet Wings on 5th Ave, in Bay Ridge, just south of 86th Street, is the measure for good wings. They are a 10. Atomic Wings are a negative 0.000100
