Several hounds have posted that this place has potential...and since I was in the Atlantis for a morning meeting, and had to walk right past the sushi bar at lunchtime on my way out...well, I had to try it. Definitely was worth the stop. First of all, the unique location of the sushi bar (there is also a raw bar there.....I must admit I had to really contemplate which one I wanted to eat at...) on the skyway over Virginia Street makes for some great views of the city. It also makes it a true non-smoking area, as no smoke gets in from the rest of the casino. The downside is (and this is my major complaint with the place) that it is a LONG walk involving stairs or elevator (escalator was broken) to the restrooms.....Another plus is that the service couldn't be nicer or more attentive. No struggle to catch the sushi chef's eye here! The fish was all very fresh, and delicious. I started with an excellent miso soup, full of tofu. I also have to report, at the risk of drawing the ire of the sushi traditionalists, that they have some excellent and unusual rolls. My favorite was the Cancun: a deliciously fresh shrimp ceviche chock full of cilantro and onion, avocado, and jalapenos in a hand roll. OK, so its nothing close to authentic, but it tasted great!!!!! Anyway, I recommend checking the place out! Prices are comparable to any place in town: All you can eat was 13.95 at lunch, which goes until four, and there was no extra charge for the soup or for hot tea afterwards.
