I asked some time ago for recs for my trip to Atlanta and said I'd report back. The trip was delayed due to bad weather in Chicago, so I'm just now reporting.
I took all the recommendations with me. Unfortunately I was outvoted by another work mate who had been to Atlanta before and knew of this great cajun place in Bucktown?
So we went to Copelands. Now, it's not that it was bad, it just wasn't great. When someone tells me they know of a great cajun place, I'm going to ask them if they've actually been to NO. I had blackened redfish. It was okay, although I think it was orange roughy with off the shelf seasonings.
Next time I travel with this guy, I'm going to say I know a great Italian place and take him to Olive Garden. No that would only hurt me, he'd like it.
Next trip I dine alone.
But anyway, thanks all for the tips.
