I just came from lunch at Kong Lang Chinese BBQ and Shanghai Restaurant (in the same Buford Hwy Chambodia strip center as Penang). Lunch was roast pig, hong kong wonton, choy sum over noodles in broth. Simple, yet absolutely superb, as usual.
Ginger, the manager told me that Kong Lang has been listed for sale, and that Grandpa--the BBQ chef-is tired and thought business would be busier.
She also said that there is an Atlanta Journal & Constitution full review slated for Fri 9/29, from which she hopes for increased business.
