Something ate all my lettuce...

PharmaChick | Jun 28, 201509:05 PM     12

I mean, decimated it. Down to the roots. A whole pot of it. (Well, storage tote, an 18 gallon, I think. That's what it's planted in.) It was beautiful, strong, and tasted amazing...apparently to them too. I thought it might be slugs, but both sluggo and eggshells were out. So it's either birds or squirrels. Any ideas how to keep them out? They should have plenty of other things to eat. Whatever it is, they leave all the herbs alone.

I gave up tomatoes and peppers because of squirrels, I'm not giving up greens too.
