Thanks to the folks at Eater I was alerted to Fort Hill Jerk Chicken this week. Placed an order on Thursday and picked up this morning. Pick up location is at the CCK commercial kitchen in Dorchester.
Let me tell you, Kai and Chris know what they are doing. Perfect amount of smoke, they obviously use the right charcoal and the seasoning is perfect. Smoky, perfectly spiced, juicy, crispy skin equals the best Jerk Chicken I have had outside Jamaica (excluding a few home cooked meals that I wont count, but this is even on par with that)
If you want to be impressed as I was, give these good folks a call or email. They are apparently planning on opening a full service restaurant in the next year. I wish them the best of luck, but in the meanwhile this will not be my last order.
