Atascadero and Northern SLO County Eats?

glbtrtr | May 6, 201710:25 AM     2

Thanks for the report about this new local dining destination - looks like a winner and a good excuse for local country drive. The new Star and Bear restaurant in the Fess Parker Hotel in Los Olivos has another intriguing menu but have not yet tried it.

We will look for that Atascadero Cider on our upcoming Cider Fest weekend. Browsing around for Atascadero restaurants to explore for our two day and coming up with this list so far - love to get some of your local feedback, Melanie or Toodie:

Pozo Ranch Burgers
Guest House in Atascadero
The Ranch in Santa Margarita
Odysseus in Atascadero
Fig and Food in Templeton

Please, anything else? I have two dinner and two lunches before the big Atascadero Pig Fest on Sunday. I will check out the salami place you recently recommended -having enjoyed the Buona Tavolo in Paso Robles recently.
