Asia de Cuba v. Yamshiro for Hollywood views?

Kelli | Sep 20, 200404:04 PM     8

My parents are coming this weekend, and before we hit up the Pantages for Movin Out on Saturday night I want to take them to a good for LA visitors/good ambience/more expensive than I could afford without parents paying meal. I would forgo stellar food for what I hear is a beautiful experience at Yamashiro, but my dad really hates any kind of Asian flavors in his food. Are any of their steaks or seafood dishes prepared in a way that might suit his tastes? I know he would love the food at Asia de Cuba...would the experience/view there be just as good as Yamashiro?
Any other recs that fit my needs in a decent vicinity of the Pantages would be appreciated, thanks!
