Arts deli, it's more about convenience, right?

Arts deli, it's more about convenience, right?

Every weekend my girlfriend and I walk my dog on Fryman, a trail off Laurel Canyon. It’s a nice time. Lately we’ve added stopping by Art’s deli on Ventura, which has made our mornings even nicer. Art’s is close, convenient, no wait AND, this is the biggee, they let dogs on the sidewalk patio.
My dog, an Italian Greyhound, is never alone. Last week he even saw a friend from the Mulholland dog park—I’m rambling. The point is I love going to Arts and relaxing with my girlfriend and dog but what should I order. My girlfriend gets matzo ball soup and the waitresses even give my dog a bowl of water but I’m not satisfied with my pastrami sandwich, it’s fine, but with each bite I’m just reminded I could just as easily be at Langers. Minus girl and dog, they’d never agree to the drive.
Point is, is there anything I’m missing out on? How is Art’s monte cristo, etc?
