Artisanal Cheese Center - Not Ready For Prime Time

After reading another post about Artisanal Cheese Center I checked out their website and placed an order - I'll cut to the chase - this was not a happy transaction...

Let's just say everything that could go wrong did go wrong. I'm ok with that, mistakes happen, that's what customer service is for. Or in this case, isn't for.

There was no communication with customer service that I didn't initiate (save one late email), and no attempt to rectify any of the problems.

They promised to send a tracking number by email for tracking the shipment- didn't happen. The order was for three seasonal cheeses - they sent three cheeses, but 2 of them were the exact same cheese...

Included in the order (according to their web site) are reusable cheese tags for your cheese...well, some orders...not this one.

There is no way to get any accurate order information or account information off their website. I realize I could pick up the phone, but that defeats the purpose of ordering and tracking on line...

The (two) cheeses may well be delicious, but Artisanal will have to be much more support-oriented to be a successful on-line purveyor. In this case Murray's just got another customer...
