South Florida is a vast wasteland as far as good bread is concerned. I can find serviceable Pao Frances and Ciabatta in Brazilian bakeries in Deerfield. However, I'd love to be able to get some good crusty bread here. I was spoiled while living in N. CA. by the availability of Acme Bread, particularly their Sweet Baguettes. I know I'll NEVER find anything to rival that here in South FL. but, if I could just find something decent...
