Does anyone have a good recipe? On the SF board there was a discussion on Porgtuguese food. Arroz Doce is wonderful full of fresh lemon and cinamon.
There was a request for a good recipe. I don't cook but I found these two links. Does anyone have any better ideas?
It seems it is cooked on top of the stove like risotto and the water the rice is cooked in is not drained so there is an extra creaminess.
A more upscale restaurant that I ate Arroz Doce made the ultimate version. They finished it off in a wood-fired oven and put it on a pool of milk caramel sauce with four figs for garnish. You could smell the warm cinnamon long before it reached the table.
