Arriving at Turnberry Isle tomorrow w/ my girls ( 7 and 2.5)- spots that are kid friendly and I can still feel like a grown up?

My littles and I are arriving tomorrow from NY for a BIG family birthday and staying through Weds. Besides eating in the hotel, are there places in the area that will be kid-friendly and accommodate one picky eater ( 7 year old) but I can still feel like a grown up? I will have a car, but will also happily take a cab if parking is a pain in the a$$ someplace.
I might have my mother with me, I might not. But she's cool with anything, really.
I know a previous post suggested Green Eggs cafe and Etzel Itzik as solid breakfast/lunch spots, but is that some place that will work for us? ( Yes, we eat Israeli food and I can muddle thru in Hebrew if I have to)
Help, please?
