Was doing my usual Sunday morning bicycle exercise today and I spotted two brand new places in that little hamlet on Metropolitan Aveneue by Forest Park.

Aroy Thai, a "neighborhood" Thai place that has a good-looking menu and featured a frog's leg special. Moderate prices, menu is in Thai and English.

Moby Grill, a "mediterranean" place with pizza, pasta, kebabs, and greek dips. Looks nice, but menu is pricey.

Very interested to hear if anybody has tried them yet, or really likes any of the places nearby (Sarabella, Alberto's)

Alberto's did have a great review up the window that was written last month from Newsday, I believe. I couldn't tell if it was one of those "Everybody Gets a 3-Star Rating" reviews that seem the default for local Queens newspapers.
