We went this Saturday, while the sun was still up and there was no wait. It was amazing.
First, the mint/herb blended lemonade was great! The bread they brought to munch on was pretty good, although the butter was in little packets. The waitress happily brought me oil and vinegar when I asked.
We split three things:
The BAtata Extravaganza:
Sweet potato, lightly fried, with olives, feta, little tomatoes and a nice vinagarette over mixed salad. They left the nuts off due to my allergies noremally, they ahve a mix of toasted nuts. It was huge, and fabulous. no skimping on potatoes or cheese!
eggs cooked in a gratin of spicy tomato sauce and peppers with a side of pita. Warm and delicious!
puff pastry served with a fresh tomato blended sauce and a hard boiled egg.
Very tasty. The tomato was just as if someone took a fresh tomoto, popped it in the blender with a little salt, and there you go.
I also had a side of creamy, dreamy hummus and pickles and olives came with all dishes. Portions were huge, service was great, seating was comfy and food came in great time. I gotta go back and explore the menu, especially the amazing looking desserts!
No alcohol, no BYOB either. One major drawback, but the food is worth it. No red meat or chicken (not sure about the chicken) but lots of amazing looking veggie and fish dishjes, pizzas and more!
