Army and Lou's/ Lem's

Yum yum yum.

I had a craving for some good soul food for the past week or so, and today I finally found the time to quench it.

We chose Army and Lou's, and I'm glad to report back that it is firing on all cylinders. I had the smothered pork chop. Two perfectly done pork chops smothered in grilled onions and gravy. I had three sides - the creamy mac and cheese, the sweet potato, and corn bread dressing. Delicious. My friend had the fried chicken, which was fried to perfection. Our service was friendly, and the experience, as always, left me with a smile. This is not a place of extraordinary taste. Rather, this is a place of extraordinary comfort. If you don't believe me, come have some of their peach cobbler.

Well, while I was down there, my chowhound handbook tells me I should stop by Lem's, right? Awesome ribs and tips. Simply awesome. Even with all the hype generated by this forum, I still left not one bit underwhelmed.
