Ariana Restaurant, a fairly new restaurant in Bend, can be added to your "must try" list. Excellent mushroom bisque, appetizer of citrus cured gravlax over potato "hash browns". Chicken cacciatore (sp?) over creamy polenta was half a small chicken (apparently slow cooked for hours), also excellent.
Reasonable wine list, which appeared to be no more than 50% over retail.
Server was (he admitted) a little green, but nevertheless better than most.
