Calling all Argentina Chowhounds! I am planning a dinner that is to feature the wines of Argentina and honor the contributions of Santiago Achaval. I have a few ideas for appetizers, main, and beverages (of course, wine will be central to both the tasting preceding dinner and the beverage of choice with the meal), but I would appreciate suggestions and recipes for sides (salads, vegetables), and desserts. This is a tasting and dinner for 20.
Tried and true family recipes shared through generations would be most appreciated, particularly if you have an anecdote to accompany it.
