For out of area wine buyers, obscure Bay Area wineries

Ken Hoffman | May 17, 200512:49 PM     3

In honor of the recent Supreme Court ruling, I am beginning with Testarossa Vineyards in Los Gatos.

This small outfit occupies the old Noviate winery above Los Gatos and offers very high quality Pinot Noir, Charndonnay, Pinot Blanc and Syrah. May are 90+ points with taste to match. The tasting room is in a converted old wine cellar. Their wine club is actually a really good deal with free tastings, release party tickets and discounted wines.
Lots of info on the web site.

Highly recommended.
