Quick refresher on Aquitaine as of tonight:
Very respectable French-inspired cuisine.
Fromaggio cheese plate... a bit skimpy on the actual cheese, but tasty.
Foie gras on a bed of risotto, the Foie was seared perfectly and a pretty decent sized portion. What's not to like about foie gras?
Rabbit saddle entree was quite delicious, as was the salmon and the filet. The desserts were also very respectable.
Bottom line, while nothing made me "hear the angels sing" I would certainly eat there again.
Also our waittress worked very hard at making sure we had everything we needed. I give her an A+.
