This is a filling question.
A few of the recent filling posts I read refer to a newish issue of Cooks Illustrated. However, I only have old CIs around (1996-2003)
Does anyone recall an older CI apple pie filling recipe that wowed you?
Again in hopes of finding a recipe I have on hand can anyone recommend a double crust apple pie (no sour cream) that can be found online or in the older versions of any of the following cookbooks
