Tried Apollo Grill in Easthampton this Saturday. It's definately worth checking out. The service, although friendly, started off a little iffy....our waitress seemed overwhelmed since she had a table of about 10 people next to us. We waited almost 30 minutes for our appetizers, which was really too bad, since they (crab cake and lobster/corn chowder)were served pretty cold, but otherwise they would have been very good. She was apologetic, but said something like "I'm doing the best I can". I don't think she had enough experience to deal with a crowd. Things got a lot better after this blip, and our entrees were really good. I had the catfish that came with a "mango hollandaise" which was out of this world. I absolutely loved that dish. Husband had the grilled swordfish which was also good, but I think the catfish was the real winner. Prices were very reasonable, I think both entrees were around $17 each. The quality for the price was outstanding. The wine list was very sparse, only 3 Chateau St. Michelle whites, but they said they are working on it.
Overall, the staff was really friendly and they seem really eager to make a go of this place. It's a cool little place, and they will probably get over some of these start-up blips. Give it a try.
