Apilco "restaurant quality" vs "Consumer Grade" from Bridge

mtpaper | Jan 27, 2010 05:20 AM

Bridge Kitchenware has a number of their Apilco pieces on Sale/Clearance.

Their site says "Restaurant Quality Porcelain can have glazing imperfections and is not to be confused with Consumer Grade Porcelain"

When I asked about the imperfections on their 10" tart pan, they said "most of them are really fine, the blemishes are black dots the size of a pencil point, and there may be 1-2 of them on the surface."

The discounts vary, but some are very very very good.

I am undecided as to whether or not I will get a few pieces, but I wanted to share the info with you
