We have had over a week of rain, and this always causes an ant infestation somewhere in our house. They are usually manageable and I can get rid of them with a bit of Amonia. This time I have super ants and they are in my kitchen, dangerously close to my pantry and my child's play area!
I have tried Amonia, vinegar, baby powder, and cayenne pepper. None of these have worked even a little. Within an hour, they are back in full force.
Any suggestions that aren't highly toxic? We have a toddler and a baby in the wombie.
Thanks as always, Chowhounders!
