Well, QueMaster Jeff, did it again! His annual ribs and pulled pork was a major winner. You better line up for next year.
The weather was great and Bay View Park beautiful. We had food, didn't we? Jeff's Q with his secret sauce or even without any sauce was simply incomparable. And everyone brought something. Plus one of Jeff's fishing buddies just that morning had given him a 20 lb. carp which also hit the coals albeit late and I was stuffed so I just had a bite, but a scrumptious bite it was.
Professor Salt did a number with his homemade, thin crust, bbq'd designer pizzas. Wow, this guy is talented.
About 30 or so people, a great mix from toddlers to oldsters, all laid back and eventually laid OUT.
This is already an annual event to anticipate and a fitting way to bid farewell to summer. Keep in touch with your Chowhound board and do something good for yourself...get on down to the next Q.
Kudos, Jeff and thanks again.
