Anniv. Dinner Reccs - please no stuffy places

My wife and I are celebrating our 2d anniversary - wanted a good restaurant recc. Please no hyper-expensive stuffy places - we went to Del Posto last year for our anniversary and found the place too stiff, formal, overwrought and expensive for just decent risotto, pasta etc. We were thinking something a little swankier, more fun. No Aureole, no Le Bernardin-type places. We loved Perilla, Smith's, Red Cat, Prune - places like that which come off a little less pretentious - a little more fun. Here';s some thoughts - we're open to suggestions:
(1) BLT Market- we made a ressie - but the place looks almost a little too casual - wood chairs, spartan room - maybe not special enough. Recently ate at BLT Steak and loved it.
(2) Bar Americain - looks like a fun room. (3) Grayzz - heard it was a cool vibe. (4) La Esquina (maybe too hip and hard to get into) (4) Raoul's- old school, cool vibe.
