Annie's on UES

Just wanted to say thanks for this board introducing me to this restaurant. I've been there a couple times for brunch and dinner and I have really enjoyed the experience. Often the food on the UES is lacking but this is a good, basic comfortable restaurant.

The brunch is hearty. the bread is fresh and service tops. There is a reason for a 30 to 60 minute wait. A bonus is that they bring coffee out to the sidewalk for people that are waiting - nice way to treat customers.

Dinner, no wait, but food even better. The menu goes from salad to sandwiches to delicious seafood specials. Roasted Chicken, butternut squash gnochi, asian tuna all good entrees. There are still more I want to try.

Dessert. Had the chocolate pudding served in a chilled mug with cream on top. The chocolate was smooth and rich without being too heavy. One serving was plenty for two. The Warm chocolate and pear bread pudding was also tops. I rarely get desset at restaurants, but here I wouldnt leave without it.
