I'm headed out to a cousin's wedding in Ann Arbor this weekend (God and Hurricane Isabel willing), and wanted to get some restaurant recommendations from local 'Hounds. I'm arriving some time on Friday and leaving relatively late on Sunday, so I figure I the following Chow slots to fill: Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast plus light lunch or brunch, Sunday brunch, then an afternoon snack before hitting the airport. The game this weekend is away, so places without bigscreen TVs shouldn't be too crazy busy.
Any and all recommendations are welcome, but I'm looking for cheap to mid-priced, not luxury meals, and I'm most interested in places that are local, unique, distinctive . . . places with character. The only "must visit" that's on my list so far is food emporium Zingerman's, so hit me with your best shot, Michigan residents (or U of M alums!). What shouldn't I miss in Ann Arbor?
