Andrew Jaeger's

Has anyone been? I picked up a menu today while passing through and I'm torn about whether to give it a try. On one hand, I really do love Creole/Cajun food and would love to have a reliable source in SF. On the other hand, Jaeger's isn't known for particularly good food, even in NOLA, and their SF branch's menu options are on the pricey end for what I'm typically used to for southern comfort food.

Here's a sampling:

Gumbo $8
Turtle Soup $10
Shrimp Remoulade $15
Oyster Rockefeller $16
Louisiana Bouillabaisse $26
Crawfish or Chicken Etouffe $21
Sauce Piquante over frog legs, alligator, fresh fish, or shrimp $21
Jambalaya $19

It was really the last item that made me pause. For $19, a Jambalaya really needs to shine and better fill me up.
