Andean haven in Newburgh

Recently a buddy of mine and I were motoring around upstate New York craving good chow. When all of a sudden we saw a sign reading "Macchu Picchu" It was quite serendipitous; we had discovered a homey little Peruvian restaurant. Closer inspection revealed that it was nestled between a Mexican grocery and a taqueria. The ceviche at Macchu Picchu was great..really really fresh, not sure what type of fish, but it was one we hadn't had before. We followed it up with a rich seafood soup, parihuela, a rich concoction rife with chunks of fish, shrimp and part of a crab. Also had a chicken stew, carapulcra, I believe. Chunks of tender chicken w/peanuts and white beans. Kind of earthy and surprisingly filling, given the small portion. Needless to say, we left quite satisfied. And, it was cheap, too.
