Anaseed is the restaurant that has taken over where Superfine used to be. This week there was a Southern emphasis on the menu, from fried chicken with baked macaroni and cheese with collard greens, to jambalaya. My friend and I walked in and the waitress said "yo, wha'd up" and seated us. Being in the mood for fried chicken, I tried that. The chicken itself was a little greasy and had a reheated feel, but overall fine, the macaroni was better, and the collards were the best. Other menu items were crabcakes with chipotle mayo, veggie stirfry wtih rice or noodles, and a dessert line, which I did not try. The portions were not too huge, in fact my friend had a small frown on his face meaning he was still hungry. But we liked what they did with the place, and if you don't mind the sound of beer drinkers and video gaming beer drinkers in the bar adjacent to the restaurant (frequent bathroom traffic) then the place feels like a little Austin dive. Maybe the moor people who go there, the more they will take it seriously
