Amsterdam Suggestions: Vegan, Seafood, Surinam; local and inexpensive: nothing touristy

madsdadus | Jun 20, 201706:18 AM

Heading to Amsterdam later this summer with my wife and two older teens. Wife likes to eat vegan. Teens more beef and chicken. I love seafood, but eat anything. Heard Indonesian food in Amsterdam is quite good, but that Surinam cuisine is even better. Love to stick to places that are more local in nature, meaning they do not cater to tourists. And like to keep my meals inexpensive. If you would like me to provide more parameters I can. I love trying out the recommendations from the community. Thanks in advance for your recommendations and commentary.
