Amina's Pizzeria on Divisadero at Grove

Cynthia | Apr 15, 200609:41 PM

I wonder if Amina is the tiny 3-yr. old running and singing in the pizzeria? I walked in the open door to ask, "Are you open?" Reply: "Sometimes." Ah-h-h. The Mystery of the Universe. Sometimes we're open; sometimes, not. It's a family business. No definite hours yet. Sign in the window: pizzamaker wanted. hmmmm. Someone's making the pizzas...My slice of pepperoni ($2.50) - thin crust, very tasty tomato sauce, good cheese and just the right amount of each. A good pizza!
Other slices available were Combo slice, A chicken-basil-feta slice, plain cheese...and whole pizzas, too. Very promising.

(located between Grove and Hayes and across from The Independent)

if I ever master the photobucket link, you might just see the cornmeal on the pizza pan...
