Amici Amore 1 Ristorante - Astoria

Ate at Amici Amore 1 last weekend for the first time and it was excellent. Their menu is pretty extensive; if you can't find what you want, they'll make it for you. They made me a linguine marinara with fresh vegetables. My only gripe with this was the sauce lacked a bit of flavor, but other than that it was delicious and piping hot (just the way I like it). The insalata mista was my appetizer (also very good). My girlfriend had the caesar salad and loved it. For her main course, she had the chicken with sausage, garlic and olive oil (loved it as well). The service was great and the atmosphere very nice (definitely comparable to most upscale Italian joints in Manhattan). The portions are quite good and the price isn't bad (the two of use ate for about $50).

Highly recommended for those in Astoria looking for some great Italian cusine!
