Ames, Des Moines, Omaha

My husband is looking for a dinner spot - medium priced - in Des Moines, not too far off I-35 or I-80. The men he's travelling with like meat & potatoes kind of meals.

They'll be travelling on to Omaha and need a similar place there, too.

Also, I remember a great burger place west of Ames, IA off I-35, then a right turn. Can't remember the name, but the burgers and malts were large. Bob do you know it?? Thanx.
