My wife and I and her sister are planning to have dinner Sunday evening with an older couple we know. For all concerned, it's best we meet downtown, at a restaurant close to a Metro station.
We intended to go to Legal Seafoods on K Street, but they're closed on Sunday. Then I went online and viewed the menu for B. Smith in Union Station, based on the good reviews here. Looks wonderful for me, but too many spicy dishes (and thus, too little choice) for the sissy-tongues who constitute the rest of my party.
So now I'm considering "America" in Union Station. I know it's not at the level of B. Smith's, but from the one lunch I had there 4 years ago, I recall it being decent. Comments, anyone?
