Ambience Restaurant, Los Altos

Ronald Wong | Sep 1, 201307:45 AM     6

For his birthday, my son and his wife had dinner at Ambiance in Los Altos, It's a transplanted restaurant from the Sacramento area and had been acclaimed for its food and service. They said they had a wonderful time.

I hope the restaurant survives because it has only a single tasting menu for $135. There are no ala carte items, so it;s not a place you just drop in.

We've been without a standout restaurant downtown since Jocco's went out of business.
