I need some ideas, please! I'm hosing 2 visitors...it's their first (and maybe only?) trip to D.C. We will do all the touristy stuff downtown for several days. Looking for historical/cool/good energy/fun/interesting or famous clientele/D.C.-ish in ambiance. I think they'd enjoy the 'experience' more than good/trendy food quality. Need primary lunch places and cheap (moderate at the most) not too far out of the way from the touristy areas. Examples are maybe Pizzaria Paradiso (Dupont Circle) and Ben's Chili Bowl. Maybe Union Station? Any other fun places? Thanks in advance!
