I just dined at the newly opened Indian Vegetarian Restaurant Ambadi Cafe at 4815-B Lee Hwy. The restaurant serves typical south Indian dishes and is cheap. I had masala dosa for $3.99 which tasted good and had fresh ingredients. The rice pudding had more creamy pudding than rice. I liked it better than Woodlands. The chef worked at Taj Mahal in duPont circle before. They have buffet at lunch but the place is very small. It seats only 12 people. Of great interest to me was that they had Puttu and Kadala.
